Who we are

WHO WE ARE

Students Without Borders is about changing and shaping people's lives and educations. The work done for our global non-profit venture centered on social innovation is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges: a lack of academic equity and cultural discrimination.

We focus on creating new educational based opportunities for individuals and communities in impoverished and developing countries by leveraging modern distance-learning technology.

Through connecting students from developing nations to skilled and motivated U.S. teachers, SWB helps to expand both its students’ and teachers’ knowledge of each other's cultures through dialogue and understanding while also promoting learning through SWB’s bespoke curriculum covering subjects including mathematics, science, social studies and, most notably, English language.

Resume

OUR MISSION

By teaching numerous subjects and most notably English language, SWB seeks to further advance students' education and life skills. Being able to read, write, and speak English is an extremely important skill in todays world, and it will help open new doors and opportunities for students. Moreover, through language and discussion between students and SWB's teachers, cultural transfer occurs and new insight is gained into the customs and way of life of people from all around the world.
